A group coming straight out of the dark, one horse clearly leading, water lifting off them like sparks in the last available light. What makes this one different from the rest of the series is the reversal — everywhere else in this collection, these horses read as white, almost luminous. Here, lit from behind with the shadows left to fall to near-black, they read as dark shapes moving through silver light instead. I kept it that way deliberately rather than pulling detail back into the shadows, because that contrast is the whole point of the image. It's the one print in the collection that shows this breed in a different register entirely — proof there's more than one way to see the same horse.
All prints are produced with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle FineArt paper for museum-grade longevity and exceptional colour accuracy.
