I found these three standing on a dune as the Mistral came through — manes pulled sideways, bodies angled into the gust like they'd done it a thousand times before, because they had. I composed this one wide and quiet, letting the sky do as much work as the horses, because the scale of that stillness is what stayed with me.
All prints are produced with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle FineArt paper for museum-grade longevity and exceptional colour accuracy.
