A long exposure turns the falls behind him into something closer to smoke than water — continuous, weightless, dissolving at the edges. Against that blur, his mane becomes the one fixed point of clarity, pale and precise where everything else has softened into motion. He didn't need to be told to hold still. This is simply how he stands, unmoved by the roar or the spray gathering at his back. The shutter speed doesn't lend the image drama so much as contrast — a single point of stillness amidst the spray and noise of the cascading water.
All prints are produced with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle FineArt paper for museum-grade longevity and exceptional colour accuracy.
