What holds this dune together is nothing but its own mass and the wind that built it — no structure, no anchor, just sand balanced at the precise angle physics allows before it gives way. I shot it at Sossusvlei as the light poured down the face like water, because that instability is the subject: a form that's beautiful specifically because it shouldn't hold.
All prints are produced with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle FineArt paper for museum-grade longevity and exceptional colour accuracy.
