Shot at 14mm, ground level, close enough that the horn nearest the lens nearly breaks the frame — this wasn't built for detail so much as scale. Stripped down to form against open sky, the rhinos stop reading as individuals and start reading as something closer to geology: thick-skinned, deliberate, immovable. What the image asks for isn't rarity. It's presence — the physical weight of animals moving together in number, at Solio, in a landscape where protection has made that continuity possible again.
